Yesterday was one of the funnest times I have ever had one-on-one with Gavin. Gavin has these foam swords curteousy of a girl in my ward. After pretending to "get" (kill is such a harsh word) each other, Gavin sort of made up his own game of "Get the Monsters". We ran around the house swinging our swords at imaginary monsters that Gavin, with his magical monster seeing sight, would point out. "There's two on the ball!" "Now there's two on the t.v.....two on the couch....oh no mommy now there's two on the table!!!" We had so much fun running from place to place in the house getting rid of all the monsters. I was pretty tired, not just from all the running but Iwas laughing my head off.
After we had clearly defeated all those darn monsters, we hunkered down on a blanket and watched some Peter Pan. It was a great day!

Yeah for great days!! I am glad it was much improved from Tuesday. Such a cute picture.
I love those days when you don't have anything to do except just play! We should have more days like that.

He's so fun! And his imagination is HUGE!!!! Love it! I bet it is so fun for him to have a mom like you who can really have a great time with him!
FOR FUN! I need to take your example and pencil in more time for "PLAYING". He is so cute and you are a great mom.
I could sure use Gavin over here - need to make sure my house is monster free. He has so much energy and what a great imagination too.
