Apple Sugar Cookies

I bought this apple sugar cookie cutter a few months ago and I have been really wanting to use it so I decided to Make these for Gavin's teacher and class for the last day of school.







Hope they enjoy them.

Mickey Mouse Cake

Just finished this cake yesterday. Didn't turn out as well as I would have hoped....practice practice practice.





Also doesn't help that I don't have a very good camera....one day! BTW most of this cake is done in buttercream....the ears, facial features and polka dots are done using fondant.

Space....the final frontier

Gavin has been really into space lately. He can name all of the planets and even the four largest moons of Jupiter. He is also becoming quite an artist so with those two combined....he came up with this creation.

Superhero Cake

So I am sure you are all sick of seeing the cakes I make....but I am really proud of this one. I made this superhero cake for my two nephews. Their birthdays are really close so they had a combined party. It was so much fun and I had a blast making this cake for them.




This is the first cake I have ever done with fondant....it was a really big project for a first timer but, I think it came out pretty good. Makes me want to do another....anybody need a cake?

So far this Mother's Day....

I also wanted to give a shout out to my mom! Talk about a creative, fun, loving, and giving person. She is ALWAYS there to lift me up when I am feeling down, give me a kick in the pants when I need it, listen when I just need to vent and offer advice when I don't have a clue. I feel so very blessed to be her daughter and can only hope to be even a smidgen of the kind of mother she has been to me! I love you with all that I am mom....Happy Mother's Day!
Also a shout out to my mom-in-law.....really a second mom. This woman has so lovingly welcomed me into her son's life as well as hers. She does so much for my family and especially my two boys. She is one of the most giving people I know and would do anything to make her family happy. Love you Denise! Happy Mother's Day!
