Day at the Zoo!

This last Saturday we decided to take the boys to the Phoenix Zoo! Thanks to Kris and Sarah we were able to go with no cost to us. Luckily I was able to snap a few photos before my camera died! It was a lot of fun and we send out a huge thank you to the Kris Heap family! Thanks for taking us!

Chaplin...or the Master Race?

It's time for everyone to take a vote. A few nights before this picture was taken, Gavin had gotten into some of my things and found a pair of fake eyelashes that I had bought for a Halloween costume many years ago. He took them into the bath one night and found a more masculine use for them. Now we just want to settle a debate about who he looks like. I say Charlie Chaplin and Justin says Hitler... cast your vote and we'll let you know who won!

Bologna

So, before I was pregnant with Hayden, I would never have even had the stuff in the house. I hated Bologna as well as mustard. But, while pregnant, it became one of my favorite sandwiches to eat. Well, I still like it, even 7 months after and decided to make myself one for lunch today. Gavin happened to walk up just as I was making it and decided that he wanted to try a slice...he'd never touched it before... and after downing it quite quickly, he approached me again and said, "Mom, I want another piece of circle meat!" I just died laughing and had to share this funny anecdote.
