Well it's happened....Justin has opened up his own firm. After months and months of searching for a job in a firm, he found a great group of attorneys that all share an office space. They have offered him a space in their office and he has decided to take it and see what kind of business he can drum up on his own. I am so excited for him...nervous too, but mostly excited. He already has some business that the other guys have thrown his way and I think he is really pleased with the decision. This gunna be great... I can feel it! Above are the business cards I designed for him....what do ya think?

Pictures of his office coming soon!

Miracle Drug....

OK So it's not really a drug, but they sure have been a miracle. Gavin has always been, well more then active, but thanks to his Grandma Heap, who introduced us to these tiny little miracles, we are noticing a big change in him. He has been a lot more calm as of late and is able to settle himself down more. He just started taking them not even a week ago and takes 2 every morning. We couldn't be more pleased with the results we've seen in him. Thanks Denise for the miracle drug!

Randomness...

I am feeling really blah lately. I guess that's why I have taken this hiatus from blogging. Not to mention the fact that I am so far behind in posting things that I don't even know where to begin.
Justin hurt his finger....like really badly hurt his finger. He has been working for his Uncle at his construction company. He got his left index finger caught in one of the drill presses at work. Not to worry, he still has a finger, but 70 tons of pressure applied to a finger is gunna leave a mark and leave a mark it did. It's not pretty to look at, but it's getting better.
My back has been really bothering me lately. I guess countless hours bent over peoples feet giving them pedicures, and filing full sets is getting to me. I have to admit that I have been bad....my back was hurting so badly the other night, I took half of one of Justin's pain killers just to get some relief. But, I guess I should just feel blessed that I am busy at work....the extra hours have really helped us out financially.
I'm excited for Valentine's Day though. I like Valentine's Day. I like a day full of "I love you's", I like the red, white and pink decorations (I love love love mine by the way), and I like dropping off little love notes with the boys to all the important people in our lives.
Even though I feel a little blah....I do feel very blessed for all that I have in my life. I have a wonderful man who teaches me something new everyday. Who puts up with me and loves me for all my craziness and blah-i-ness! I have two very handsome boys that I love with ever ounce of my heart. They are so loving and sweet (most of the time). We have a beautiful home, awesome families that live close by...we are so blessed!

Playing Catch Up

December was an absolutely CrAZy month for me. From my ward choir program, to my basket business, working 4 days a week, catering a huge event, to just trying to get ready for Christmas, I had not the time to breath let alone blog. So here I am, trying to play catch up....look for future posts of my families activities in December and as of late.

#2 I'm Thankful For.....

My Boys.....They are my EVERYTHING! I have been blessed with two of the most handsome boys and (for the most part :0)) they bring me a lot of happiness and joy. They love to giggle and wrestle and play games and I love to be a part of that innocence. I feel so thankful to my Father in Heaven for entrusting me with the awesome task of being a mother and I hope he blesses us with even more of His sweet little spirits here on earth.

#1 I'm Thankful For.....

The Gospel....I am so thankful that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

For the knowledge that, if I live a righteous life, I will return to live with my Father in Heaven again. I am thankful for my Savior who lived and died for my sins which makes that possible.

I am thankful to know that my family and I will be together forever, that I will be reunited with those that have gone on before me into the next life. What a wondrous blessing this church is and I am so very thankful to be a member of it
